Full Job Description About Us:
We are a growing FAA Part 145 repair station specializing in the inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft hydraulic and electrical components. Our father-and-son-owned company recently expanded into a new 33,000 sq. ft. facility, and we're looking to add motivated team members who want to grow with us.
Position Overview:
In this entry level position, the Teardown Technician will be responsible for disassembling incoming hydraulic and electrical components, inspecting parts for wear or damage, documenting findings, and preparing components for cleaning and further evaluation by our team. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that is critical to our repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely disassemble hydraulic and electrical components according to manuals and procedures Inspect parts for defects, wear, and contamination Record teardown findings accurately for review by repair/inspection personnel Organize and label parts for cleaning and further processing Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow FAA and company quality standards at all times
Qualifications:
Previous mechanical or technical experience preferred (aviation, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is a plus Must be able to pass random drug screening
