Summary:
 The Technician is responsible for the repair and modification of customer parts while working with team members to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met in accordance with approved data, engineering requirements, and applicable regulations. In addition, this individual assists co-workers with troubleshooting, resolving composite-related concerns, and improving repair methods and practices. The Technician must be familiar with structural assembly involving sheet metal and composite materials used in commercial aircraft components. The technician performs repairs, modifications, and technical work on aircraft assemblies to approved engineering for in-service commercial aircraft.
Responsibilities:
Repetitive drilling and use of pneumatic tooling Rivet removal and installation Hi-Lok installation Assembly of components Aerodynamic sealing and general sealing Sand and trim composite components Composite panel repair and wet lay up Other duties as assigned Preferred qualifications: 2-3 years' experience with composite aero structures Knowledge of typical aircraft manufacturing methods and practices. Familiarity with aircraft manufacturing tools, tooling, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical data. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques. Airframe certification preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
Full understanding of composite structures, techniques, and skills required to complete the task. Ability to meet schedule commitments and handle multiple actions simultaneously. Ability to take initiative as problems or opportunities arise. Demonstrates high levels of verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and reasoning ability. Excellent skills in multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization of multiple projects.

Work environment:
The Aircraft Repair Technician performs work in a production environment and may regularly be exposed to dust and heat. Occasional exposure to loud noise (e.g., drilling) and fumes or airborne particles should be expected. Minimal exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals is present. Personal protective equipment may be required.
