Job Description

Perform aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, component replacement, and inspection in accordance with approved technical data and FAA requirements. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid Airframe and Powerplant license Minimum of two years of aircraft maintenance experience Ability to read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals Ability to read and interpret Structural Repair Manuals Ability to read and interpret Safety Manuals Ability to read and interpret Illustrated Parts Catalogs Knowledge of FAA regulations and Airworthiness Directives Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints Experience troubleshooting aircraft systems Experience repairing aircraft systems using approved technical data Experience removing and replacing aircraft components Knowledge of aircraft systems Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Preferred Skills Line maintenance experience Experience performing aircraft troubleshooting with limited supervision Experience working with structural repairs Experience using FAA-approved maintenance data Experience performing component removal and replacement Job Responsibilities Perform daily aircraft maintenance activities Troubleshoot aircraft systems and identify maintenance issues Repair aircraft systems in accordance with approved technical data Remove and replace aircraft parts and components Interpret maintenance manuals, repair manuals, parts catalogs, FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and blueprints Perform repairs according to applicable aircraft maintenance procedures Follow FAA regulations and approved maintenance practices Follow applicable safety procedures Maintain compliance with maintenance policies and procedures Maintain clean and organized aircraft maintenance work areas Complete assigned maintenance work with minimal rework
