Aircraft Maintenance Technician Flightcheck - 5.0 Louisville, KY Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work Customer service Airframe & Powerplant License English High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsibilities include accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance, such as troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems, as well as removing and replacing various system components, as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck's RSM, QCM, customers' procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency standards Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness Read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining clear, professional communication at all times Occasional travel Perform other duties as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language Excellent communication and customer service-oriented Provide own tools in accordance with the company minimum tool list Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening and obtain a security badge for the airfield
Education and Experience:
3-5 years of experience Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver's License Preferred Aircraft Qualifications:
CRJ200/700/900 EMB-175/190 B737NG A319/320/321 B757
Physical Requirements:
