32, WL-8852-10, you will on a regular and recurring basis, lead three or more aircraft mechanics, crew chiefs, and specialist personnel performing work in the inspection docks. Monitor the work of assigned personnel, set the pace, pass along assignments, and assures th merials, tools, equipment, and stock are available. Serve as a technical advisor by answering questions regarding approprie procedures, policies, written instructions and other directives. Ensure th safety, housekeeping, security and other environmental rules are followed. Advise the supervisor of overall work operions, stus and progress of work, causes for delays, problems encountered, and individual performance (e.g.,additional on-the-job training requirements for individual employees). MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Experience which demonstres the ability to lead other technicians engaged in the duties performed by this occupional series such as removing and replacing aircraft parts, accessories, and components, and to make adjustments and settings according to established specificions?.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have 24 months experience in planning, organizing, and leading the work of others in fields directly reled the repair function of this occupional series installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modificion. Must have the ability to perform administrive functions; to read and interpret a variety of technical publicions used in the repair of supported equipment. The ability to provide guidance to others in work reled directly to this occupional series such as the ability to instruct lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, and fuel controls sufficient for the exhibit to be returned to its shipping container?.
