Header Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Aviation Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of aircraft. Header Duties Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including airframes, engines, avionics, and mechanical systems, ensuring all work adheres to FAA regulations and industry standards. Use technical schematics, CAD drawings, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems affecting aircraft performance or safety, implementing effective repair solutions. Utilize specialized industrial tools such as torque wrenches, power tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and precision measuring instruments for assembly and repair tasks. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate fabrication, modification, or repair of aircraft components using sheet metal fabrication, welding, soldering, and other manufacturing processes. Coordinate with team members to execute flight line maintenance activities promptly while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for compliance and tracking purposes. Header Qualifications Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or aviation maintenance facilities with a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, ohmmeters, ammeters, and welding equipment. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and CAD software such as CATIA or AutoCAD for interpreting engineering documents. Electrical experience and expertise in avionics systems troubleshooting are highly desirable. Prior military aviation or heavy vehicle maintenance experience is advantageous due to the technical rigor involved. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate specialized industrial tools efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
