Job Description

Job Summary:
The Line Service Technician is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews and passengers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Review schedule and arrival/departure forms at the beginning of shift. Check over aircraft cleaning sheets from the previous shift. Facilitate aircraft positioning in and out of hangar facilities. Direct aircraft arrivals and departures from operations ramp. Greet passengers and crew upon arrival. Assist passengers and crew with baggage and/or cargo. Operate all Ground Service Equipment in a safe and professional manner. Provide aircraft fueling services. Provide aircraft with all other services (lavatory service, potable water, coffee, ice, newspapers, etc.) Assist flight crew with unloading donor bodies from aircraft. PPE is provided. Line clean aircraft that have arrived home from a trip. Assist with customer service duties as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned by shift supervisor and/or FBO Manager.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools for routine maintenance and simple repairs. Ability to follow directions and effectively work on multiple projects at one time. Customer service skills.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Aviation experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
