This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge aviation technology, perform detailed inspections, and execute precision repairs. You'll be responsible for ensuring aircraft are airworthy, compliant with federal regulations, and ready for flight. Your expertise will contribute directly to safe and efficient aviation operations, supporting our commitment to excellence in aerospace maintenance. Duties Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft airframes, engines, and systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. Deep inspection, testing, and overhaul of major systems including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, environmental control, and flight control systems (A&P Mechanic) Removal, inspection, refurbishment, or replacement of landing gear; engines either removed for overhaul or thoroughly inspected on-wing (A&P Mechanic) Conduct thorough inspections utilizing schematics, CAD drawings, and technical manuals to identify issues related to structural integrity, electrical systems, avionics, and mechanical components. Analyze root cause issues using root cause analysis techniques to prevent recurrence of problems. Document all maintenance activities meticulously within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards for quality management. Collaborate with team members on aircraft assembly/disassembly projects and support equipment repair tasks involving power tools and precision instruments. Ensure all work complies with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), aviation safety protocols, and company policies for aircraft maintenance and manufacturing processes. Experience Proven mechanic experience in aviation or aerospace environments with a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience working with airframes, powerplants, avionics systems, or vehicle maintenance is highly desirable. Experience working within regulated environments such as the FAA or other federal agencies ensures compliance with safety protocols. Join us if you're passionate about aviation maintenance!
