Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As an A&P Mechanic, you will play a vital role in troubleshooting and maintaining our expanding fleet of fourteen aircraft, including the Beechcraft King Air 350, King Air 200, King Air F90, Premier 1A, Hawker 4000, Hawker 800XP, and a Bell 407 helicopter. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to service customer aircraft, broadening your experience and expertise.
You will also:
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, disassemble, rework, replace, reassemble, or adjust aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery. Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, test equipment, and machines. Perform routine and preventive maintenance activities to comply with FAA air carrier requirements. Complete all tasks to the manufacturer's specifications and Federal Aviation Regulations. Prepare and maintain documentation related to work activities in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions regarding airworthiness. Possess a thorough understanding of aircraft engine parts and systems. And mechanics by model and type. Proficient oral and written communication skills, as needed, to discuss equipment malfunction, and complete documentation and reports. Possess problem-solving and organizational skills.
Job Requirements:
A&P License is required at the time of hire. Experience with King-Air, Bell Helicopters, and Hawkers preferred. This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to pre-employment and periodic DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations. Must be able to pass a background check to obtain an airport access badge
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, lie, bend, and kneel in tight spaces. Must be able to stand for long periods (reasonable accommodation may be requested). Must be able to perform work on ladders. Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and physical strength are necessary to operate the tools and equipment required to make the necessary adjustments and repairs.
