Aviation Charters, Inc. is a well-established aircraft management, maintenance, and part 135 operator based in Ewing New Jersey. Our commitment to excellence, customer service and employee satisfaction is second to none. We continue to experience steady growth along with our sister organization "FlightServ" FBO. Daily scheduled and non-scheduled, maintenance and repair of our aircraft. Our fleet includes the following types of aircraft: Falcon 900EX, Falcon 2000LXS, Nextant 400XT, King Air 350, Citation Excel.
Job duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of aircraft to ensure they meet safety and airworthiness standards. Inspect and test aircraft systems, such as engines, avionics, landing gear, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and repairs on aircraft components and systems. This may include replacing or repairing damaged parts, trouble shooting electrical and mechanical issues and addressing wear and tear.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements in compliance with regulatory requirements. Complete maintenance logbooks and documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and aviation professionals to troubleshoot complex issues and perform maintenance tasks efficiently. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on or around aircraft, including wearing appropriate safety gear and using safety equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Must have desire to work in a Corporate Aviation environment.
- Must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Prior 135 experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be computer literate.
