Job Description

Job Summary Mid Island Air Service has been family owned and operated since 1946. There are two locations at the Islip and Brookhaven Airports, servicing all of your aviation needs. We are currently looking for Line Service Personnel at our Brookhaven location. Candidates must be able to carry 50 lbs., feel comfortable on ladders, and have a valid NYS Drivers License. We are specifically looking for candidates who can work any day during the hours of 7:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. More hours may be given based on work performance. This is a part-time position. No experience needed. On the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties Job Duties:
Fueling school aircraft Quality control of fuel supplies and inventory calculations Positioning aircraft Jump starting aircraft Cleaning aircraft exteriors and interiors Preheating aircraft Facility management (Including, but not limited to, landscaping and janitorial duties) Qualifications and Skills Mid Island is looking for a highly motivated, dependable candidate who is eager to learn and is personable.
