Toledo Jet is seeking an experienced Lead Technician to support aircraft maintenance operations at our Toledo Express Airport (KTOL) facility. This hands-on leadership position combines senior-level aircraft maintenance expertise with day-to-day coordination of technicians, maintenance tasks, workflow, troubleshooting, documentation, and safety. The Lead Technician works closely with maintenance leadership, Quality Assurance, and fellow technicians to help ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable FAA regulations, manufacturer technical data, company procedures, and Toledo Jet quality standards. What You'll Do Maintenance & Technical Leadership

• Perform and support scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians during aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Diagnose and assist with complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and aircraft-system discrepancies.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, illustrated parts catalogs, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and other approved technical data.
• Help determine appropriate maintenance actions, required tooling, parts, and technical resources.
• Support aircraft inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with applicable maintenance programs and company procedures. Team & Workflow Coordination
• Coordinate day-to-day technician assignments and maintenance workflow during the assigned shift.
• Monitor job progress and communicate aircraft status, discrepancies, priorities, and resource needs to maintenance leadership.
• Provide technical assistance, coaching, and on-the-job support to maintenance technicians.
• Help ensure technicians have the information, tooling, parts, and technical data needed to complete assigned work.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance personnel when inspections, documentation review, or corrective actions are required.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, workmanship, and efficient use of resources. Documentation & Compliance
• Ensure maintenance records, logbook entries, work orders, and related documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support compliance with applicable FAA regulations, Toledo Jet Repair Station procedures, manufacturer technical data, and company policies.
• Help verify that maintenance discrepancies and corrective actions are properly documented.
• Support compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and applicable inspection requirements.
• Maintain strong standards of tool control, FOD prevention, housekeeping, environmental compliance, and workplace safety. Operational Support
• Support aircraft positioning, towing, ground operations, and related maintenance activities when required.
• Coordinate with maintenance leadership and other departments to support aircraft availability and efficient return to service.
• Assist with AOG or emergency maintenance requirements when operationally necessary during the assigned shift.
• Maintain clear communication during shift activities and turnover of open maintenance items. Qualifications Required
• Current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on corporate and/or turbine aircraft.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of aircraft mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction, coordinate workflow, and support other technicians.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance requirements applicable to an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, illustrated parts catalogs, and other technical documentation.
• Ability to accurately complete and review aircraft maintenance documentation, work orders, and logbook entries.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, maintenance leadership, Quality Assurance, and support departments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain required airport access credentials.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with aircraft maintenance work. Preferred
• Previous experience as a Lead Technician, Crew Lead, senior technician, or comparable maintenance leadership role.
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).
• Previous experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
• Strong experience with Toledo Jet-supported business aircraft, including Citation, Hawker, Bombardier/Challenger, King Air, Learjet, Falcon, Turbo Commander, Gulfstream, Embraer, and comparable turbine aircraft.
• Manufacturer or OEM factory training on relevant aircraft platforms.
• Delegated inspection or inspection-support experience, where applicable.
• Aircraft run/taxi qualification, where applicable.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience.
• Experience coordinating maintenance workflow, manpower, work packages, and aircraft priorities.
• Experience with Corridor, CAMP, Veryon (Flightdocs), or comparable maintenance tracking software. Compensation & Benefits
