The candidate will need to have General Aviation experience working on piston-powered aircraft; preferably Cessna 172, and Piper Aircraft.
Position Overview :
This position works as a team member in a professional shop performing inspections, repair, preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a flight school environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.
Qualifications:
GA Aircraft Experience Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Certificate Piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience required Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals Possess adequate tools FAA Inspection Authorization (optional) (I A) certificate (optional) Avionics troubleshooting experience a plus
Responsibilities:
Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and company policies Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries Follow all policies and procedures Maintain accurate records Enter all activities work order software system Maintain accurate and relevant inventory of spare parts and supplies Keep a clean and orderly work environment Perform job duties in a safe manner Perform other duties as assigned
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
