Director of Maintenance (in coordination with Victory Air) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Controller to oversee maintenance coordination and control for a fleet of ten Embraer ERJ‑145 aircraft. This role is critical to ensuring all aircraft are airworthy, safe, and released on schedule . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, able to source and manage contract maintenance, and work closely with the Victory Air Director of Maintenance to support safe and on‑time flight operations. Key Responsibilities Provide real‑time maintenance control and oversight for the ERJ‑145 fleet Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, company policies, and approved maintenance programs Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events to minimize aircraft downtime Source, coordinate, and manage contract maintenance providers as needed Work collaboratively with the Victory Air Director of Maintenance to resolve maintenance discrepancies and operational issues Monitor aircraft MEL/CDL items, deferred maintenance, and corrective actions Review maintenance records, logbooks, and discrepancies for accuracy and regulatory compliance Support flight operations by ensuring aircraft are released in a timely and airworthy condition Communicate effectively with maintenance vendors, flight crews, and operations staff Assist with AOG recovery, troubleshooting, and return‑to‑service decisions Maintain a high level of situational awareness to proactively prevent delays and cancellations Qualifications Prior experience as a Maintenance Controller , Maintenance Coordinator, or similar role in Part 135 or Part 121 operations Experience with Embraer ERJ‑145 aircraft strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance control procedures Ability to evaluate and arrange contract maintenance at various locations Excellent decision‑making skills in time‑sensitive operational environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with leadership and external partners Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and electronic recordkeeping Preferred Qualifications A&P certificate (preferred but not required) Previous experience coordinating maintenance for remote or geographically dispersed aircraft Familiarity with Victory Air maintenance processes Work Environment Hybrid position with both in‑person and remote work opportunities Availability to support operational needs, including nights, weekends, or after‑hours events as required Why Join Us Be a key contributor to the safety and reliability of a growing regional fleet Work directly with experienced maintenance leadership Play a vital role in ensuring safe, on‑time passenger service
