A&P Mechanic Job Description Join our team as an A&P Mechanic where you will be performing line and overnight hangar maintenance on Boeing 747 aircraft at the Charleston, SC Airport within the Boeing Facility. This role offers basic inspection training and the opportunity for contract-to-hire after six months. Responsibilities Perform line and overnight hangar maintenance on Boeing 747 aircraft. Receive basic inspection training. Work within a Boeing facility to maintain aircraft standards. Essential Skills Possess an A&P license. Experience with Boeing 747, 737, 787, and 777 models. Powerplant mechanic skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mid-level candidates are welcome. Experience with any Boeing model or regional aircraft preferred. Ability to obtain a Boeing Badge. • $40.00 an hour based on expereince. Work Environment The work environment is at CHS
• Charleston, SC Airport, focusing on line maintenance and hangar maintenance. The station has been operational since November 2021 and continues to expand. Shifts include night shifts from 6 p.m.
• 4 a.m. or 8 p.m.
• 6 a.m., with a schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off. Flexibility for day and night shifts is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00
