Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform complex assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical aircraft components using comprehensive technical knowledge. Conduct structural modifications and repairs; assess functionality of non-complex electrical systems. Operate specialized aircraft tools, including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears. Execute tasks such as pull holes, match & back drilling, fastener removals, riveting, sleeve bolt drilling, and system, wire, and tube installations. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements. Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned work.
Requirements:
10+ years of on-aircraft heavy structural experience. 5+ years in MRO, Repair Station, AOG, or Travel MODS environments. 5+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies. High School diploma/GED or equivalent education. 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
10+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience. 2+ years of composites experience. 2+ years of experience with Velocity and Redars systems.
