Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic role located in Nashville, TN. The mechanic will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various aircraft, ensuring all work complies with FAA regulations and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting aircraft systems, documenting maintenance actions, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other technicians to resolve technical issues efficiently. The role also involves confirming aircraft airworthiness before release to service, communicating findings and repair needs to supervisors and customers, and following safety protocols in the hangar and on the ramp. Qualifications Ability to perform comprehensive Aircraft Maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting across multiple airframe types. Strong understanding of PowerPlant systems, including piston and/or turbine engines, with skills in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Knowledge of Aircraft Systems (electrical, hydraulic, fuel, environmental, and flight control) and the ability to interpret technical data and manuals. Demonstrated experience maintaining Aircraft in accordance with manufacturer guidance, maintenance programs, and regulatory requirements. Clear grasp of Airworthiness standards and FAA regulations, with the ability to assess, document, and sign off work within approved procedures. Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required. Previous experience in general aviation or corporate aviation maintenance preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins. Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented hangar environment. Willingness to work varying shifts as needed and to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
