147536Job Description:
The Engine Mechanic performs inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on aircraft airframe structures, engines, systems, and propellers to ensure safe and compliant operation. This role removes and installs components, performs engine rigging and hot section maintenance, operates power tools and equipment, maintains accurate maintenance records, tows and parks aircraft, and maintains a clean and organized work area while adhering to regulatory standards and safety requirements.Job Requirements:

Required Education & Job Requirements- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of solid experience on PT6 engines.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
- PT6 factory training required; certificate required.
- Ability to rig and perform hot section maintenance on engines mounted on the wing.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required. Professional Attributes

- Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers. Preferred Skills
- Experience with PT6 engines.
- Experience with Williams and JT15 engines.
- Williams and JT15 school training preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints. Job Duties & Functions
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot aircraft airframe structures, engines, and systems.
- Complete all required airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications.
- Remove and disassemble defective parts and install replacement parts.
- Operate necessary power tools and equipment to complete job assignments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and record time worked on work orders.
- Tow and park aircraft as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area for customer interactions.
- Perform other aircraft maintenance duties as assigned. Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle aircraft components and tools.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
- Exposure to aircraft exhaust, engine noise, and lubricants.
- Ability to work on elevated platforms and in confined spaces.
