Essential Skills of the Job Perform overhauls and/or repairs on a wide variety of different landing gear systems. Troubleshoot and assist in repairing/inspecting different landing gear components. Utilize and consistently learn new procedures on approved overhaul/repairs. Work as a team player and assist co-workers as needed. Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling when required. This position includes varying amounts of inspection, troubleshooting, adjustments, repairing, performing overhauls and testing aircraft landing gear components on a variety of aircraft models. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with their hands and have a love of mechanical functions. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work as a team or independently depending on the project. All technicians will use personal protection equipment according to manufacturers' specifications, in a safe and clean work environment. This position requires a high attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records of repairs performed as required by the FAA and manufacturer.
