Job Description

Description Job Summary The Flight Line Technician supports safe and efficient ground operations at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Jet Center. Responsibilities include aircraft fueling, ground handling, ramp operations, and customer service, while adhering to aviation safety standards and delivering professional service to pilots, passengers, and partners. Essential Functions Aircraft & Ground Operations Safely fuel fixed‑wing and rotor‑wing aircraft in compliance with fuel quality control standards. Load and unload fuel following all safety, environmental, and operational procedures. Tow, position, secure, and service aircraft using approved ground support equipment. Marshal aircraft during arrivals and departures using proper signals and equipment. Open and close FBO facilities per established procedures. Provide support services, including ground power, engine start assistance, and lavatory servicing. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ramp environment. Customer Service & Communication Communicate professionally with pilots, passengers, vendors, and team members. Coordinate with line service and customer service personnel. Respond promptly and courteously to customer needs while prioritizing safety. Minimum Qualifications Minimum age of 21. Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR. High school diploma or equivalent. Professional appearance in compliance with uniform standards. Aviation or ramp experience preferred. Willingness to complete required training. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of ramp safety and ground handling procedures. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays. Effective verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Bend, reach, and work around aircraft and equipment. Work in outdoor environments with noise exposure. Compensation & Career Development Competitive hourly pay. Scheduled performance reviews with potential increases. Qualifications Experience providing customer service in an aviation, transportation, or service‑driven environment, communicating professionally with clients, pilots, passengers, and team members. Education Some college (Preferred) High School (Required) Experience Preferred Experience providing customer service in an aviation, transportation, or service‑driven environment, communicating professionally with clients, pilots, passengers, and team members. Preferred Experience working in a safety‑regulated, outdoor operational environment, following standard operating procedures, checklists, and quality control requirements. Preferred Experience supporting aircraft ground operations, including fueling, towing, marshalling, and ramp safety procedures for fixed‑wing and/or rotor‑wing aircraft.
