Job Summary:

Recruiting a specialized Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) or A&P mechanic who travels to the location of an aircraft to perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance, often in urgent Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations. Documentation & Compliance:

Certifications:

Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required.

3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, often with specific experience on corporate, regional, or specific manufacturer jet models (e.g., Dassault, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney).

Technical Skills:

Strong troubleshooting abilities, proficiency in reading technical manuals/blueprints, and experience with structural/mechanical repairs.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended, often last-minute, travel (sometimes up to 90 travel).

Independence:

Ability to work alone in varied, sometimes harsh, outdoor environments.

Documentation:

Experience with computer-based maintenance tracking software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Subject to noise in excess of 85 dB Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and/or service stands. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment. Must be able to breathe through a full-face respirator. Job required participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program. Normal or corrected hearing. Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds. Minimum visual acuity of 20/40 corrected.
