Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Security and Network Systems Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems, including access control systems, door hardware, and IP video surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will also possess basic networking knowledge to support IP-based security devices and networking equipment. Responsibilities Install and service access control systems, including: Card readers Electric strikes and magnetic locks Door controllers Request-to-exit devices Keypads and credential readers Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP video surveillance systems, including: IP cameras Network video recorders (NVRs) Video management software Enterprise network switches and routers Run and terminate low-voltage cabling, including: Cat5e/Cat6 Door and control wiring Fiber optic cabling Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Document installations, service calls, and system changes.
