In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive fire sprinkler system designs that ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency across various construction projects. Your expertise will help translate complex project requirements into clear, actionable plans, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier fire protection solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving systems while working with cutting-edge design tools and collaborative teams. Responsibilities Develop detailed fire sprinkler system layouts using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, ensuring adherence to local codes and safety standards. Create accurate schematics and mechanical designs for fire suppression systems that integrate seamlessly with building infrastructure. Draft technical drawings and specifications that clearly communicate system components, piping routes, sprinkler head placements, and control valves. Collaborate with civil engineers and construction teams during project planning and execution phases to ensure design feasibility and compliance. Review project plans for accuracy, completeness, and constructability; make revisions as needed based on client feedback or regulatory updates. Support construction teams by providing detailed drawings and technical guidance throughout installation phases. Qualifications Proven experience in fire protection system drafting with proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or SprinkCad. Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system components, schematics, piping layouts, and relevant safety codes. Knowledge of construction processes and ability to produce precise 2D drawings suitable for manufacturing and installation. Experience working on projects involving schematic development, drafting, and technical documentation. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams during all project phases. NICET III or IV preferred. Experience in Commercial, multifamily, industrial, construction.
