The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security engineering, experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), and proficiency in low voltage system design. Experience with Dynamo and Python to assist with automation tools is highly desirable. Experience with security design for data centers and factories is also highly desirable. What You'll Do Develop and produce security system design documentation using Revit Coordinate closely with Security Project Managers to align models with project requirements Create and maintain BIM Models and back-of-house drafting standards for consistency across projects Use Dynamo to automate repetitive tasks and enhance design efficiency within Revit Draft and model physical security systems such as access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection Support QA/QC efforts to ensure documentation meets internal and client standards Adapt and revise documentation based on evolving project needs and feedback Assist in developing workflows that improve drafting accuracy and efficiency What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field, or equivalent experience 1+ years of experience in security system design and BIM modeling Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, etc.) Strong understanding of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection Experience in designing low voltage systems and creating one-line diagrams Familiarity with design standards and regulatory requirements related to security systems and low voltage design Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $124,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
