$32.00-$46.00 per hour , depending on experience, technical capability, and ability to work independently Build More Than Systems. Build a Career. We are a growing commercial security integration company serving businesses throughout Colorado. Our work includes commercial intrusion alarms, access control, enterprise IP video surveillance, structured cabling, and supporting network infrastructure. We are looking for a dependable, experienced technician who can complete routine service calls, support commissioning, perform quality installations, and handle much of the work independently. This position is designed for someone who is beyond the entry level but is not necessarily expected to serve as the company's senior technical authority. You should be able to take ownership of assigned work, communicate professionally with customers, and recognize when a problem requires additional technical support. Compensation $32.00-$46.00 per hour , depending on experience, technical capability, and demonstrated independence. Exceptional candidates may receive higher compensation based on relevant experience and proven skills.

Your First-Year Roadmap Our goal is to help you become a dependable, well-rounded Commercial Security Systems Technician who can confidently manage routine work independently while continuing to expand your technical abilities. During your first year, you will work toward: Completing most routine commercial service calls independently. Troubleshooting common intrusion alarm wiring, device, communication, and programming issues. Completing commercial installations with limited supervision. Supporting system startup, programming, testing, and commissioning. Communicating directly with customers regarding work performed. Supporting senior technicians on complex systems and larger projects. Building broader experience in intrusion, access control, CCTV, and networking.
What You'll Do:
Commercial Service Perform routine commercial service calls independently. Troubleshoot intrusion alarm circuits, devices, control panels, and communication paths. Diagnose common wiring, power, battery, device, and programming problems. Complete user, schedule, notification, and other approved programming changes. Repair or replace defective system components. Clearly document findings, corrective actions, and remaining recommendations. Commercial Installation Install intrusion alarm, access control, CCTV, network-connected security, and structured cabling systems. Read project documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment schedules. Install, terminate, label, test, and organize field and head-end equipment. Complete assigned work to company quality and documentation standards. Coordinate routine field activities with other technicians and customer representatives. Document installation progress, challenges, and daily updates. Commissioning and Technical Support Support system startup, programming, commissioning, and turnover. Complete device testing and verification. Assist with customer demonstrations and basic user training. Support senior technicians during complex troubleshooting or advanced commissioning. Identify technical risks and escalate them before they cause delays or rework. Required Qualifications Experience installing and servicing commercial electronic security systems. Ability to independently complete routine commercial service calls. Working knowledge of intrusion alarm circuits and devices. Basic-to-intermediate alarm-panel programming experience. Ability to read wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical documentation. Proficiency using a digital multimeter and common diagnostic tools. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is desirable: DMP Bosch Honeywell or Resideo DSC Commercial access control Enterprise CCTV or IP video IP networking fundamentals PoE switches and network-connected devices Structured cabling Ubiquiti networking equipment The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here We are looking for someone who: Can work independently without requiring constant direction. Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Colorado Front Range; and occasionally out of state. Occasional after-hours service or extended workdays may be required.
