Join a dedicated fire life and safety team as a Fire Protection / Alarm Technician, supporting the inspection, testing, and maintenance of vital fire safety systems. This role involves working on fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment within a large facility environment. You will perform scheduled inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and ensure compliance withNFPA 72, NFPA 92, NFPA
25, and NFPA 20 standards. Your expertise will help safeguard personnel and assets while contributing to a team focused on safety and operational excellence. In this role, you will: Conduct preventive maintenance, testing, and inspections of fire safety systems including fire extinguishers and alarms Troubleshoot and perform light repairs on fire protection systems Learn and service fire protection control systems Complete all service work orders and documentation accurately and promptly Communicate professionally with clients and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction Participate in after-hours emergency call rotations as neededRequired Skills/Education:
High school diploma or GED; vocational or trade school coursework is a plus NICET Fire Alarm Systems Certification Level II Knowledge ofNFPA 72, NFPA 92, NFPA
25, and NFPA 20 standards Backflow certification preferred Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs regularly Basic mechanical skills and manual dexterity Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and write reportsAbout Seneca Resources:
