$28-$35/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Field Technician Lead to oversee the layout, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, can interpret construction documents, leads by example in the field, and communicates professionally with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead the layout and installation of fire sprinkler systems. Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction documents. Install, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems, including: Wet systems Dry systems Pre-action systems Deluge systems Fire pumps Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, county officials, and general contractors. Maintain accurate daily documentation and project records. Complete site surveys and identify code-related issues and potential solutions. Perform work efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow all applicable NFPA codes and standards. Climb ladders, operate high-lift equipment, and safely carry and move materials as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in the fire sprinkler industry. Experience with the layout and installation of fire sprinkler systems. Working knowledge of NFPA 13 and other applicable NFPA codes and standards. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. NICET Level II Certification is a plus but not required. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid, clean driver's license. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
