Senior Fire Alarm Technician / Inspector - JACKSONVILLE

Job Description Sprinklermatic Fire Protection Inc., a leading employee-owned fire protection contractor in Florida , is seeking experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technicians / Inspectors to join our growing team. We specialize in the installation, service, inspection, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems for commercial, multi-family residential, and institutional facilities throughout Florida. This position is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting experience and knowledge of NFPA 72 who is looking for long-term career growth with a stable company where employees have a stake in the company's success. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72, state, and local codes
• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) and complete all documentation accurately and on time
• Diagnose and resolve issues with fire alarm control panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances
• Test and verify system operation including smoke detectors, pull stations, horns, strobes, and supervisory devices
• Read and interpret construction drawings, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Communicate with customers, contractors, and management regarding system status and required repairs
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a professional manner
• Participate in a paid on-call rotation for emergency service Qualifications
• 5+ years of fire alarm installation, service, or inspection experience required
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable electrical/fire codes
• Experience with major fire alarm manufacturers such as Silent Knight, Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards (EST), Fire-Lite, Gamewell, or similar systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system faults efficiently
• Ability to read construction plans and wiring diagrams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
• FASA/BASA or NICET certification preferred (company training and certification assistance available) Compensation & Benefits
