About the Role As a Security Hardware and Access Technician, you will play a vital role in safeguarding client facilities by deploying advanced physical security measures and electronic monitoring solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end integration of high-tech security systems and specialized door hardware, ensuring that every installation provides maximum protection and operational reliability. Responsibilities Execute the precise installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of integrated security hardware, including IP cameras, alarm sensors, and electronic access control systems. Perform structural and mechanical installation of diverse door systems, ensuring seamless operation of automatic, manual, and high-security entry points. Evaluate client sites to architect effective security layouts that address specific vulnerabilities and operational needs. Drive client satisfaction by providing clear technical guidance and resolving system performance concerns with a professional, service-oriented approach. Document project progress and service history to maintain high standards of technical accuracy and accountability. Contribute to team efficiency by coordinating on-site workflows and sharing technical expertise during complex installations. Continuously refine your skillset by mastering emerging technologies in the physical security and smart-access industry. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent, with preference for formal technical training in low-voltage systems. Demonstrated expertise in the installation of security hardware and commercial door systems. Solid proficiency in electrical circuitry, low-voltage wiring, and system integration. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on precision and high-quality craftsmanship. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for site travel. Preferred Skills Prior experience with specific access control software or network-based security platforms. Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for complex electronic hardware. Proven ability to manage multiple installation projects simultaneously.
