Fire Alarm Installer Job Description:

The Fire Alarm Installer is responsible for installing alarm panels, smoke and heat detectors, and roughing in fiber.



The role requires a clean background, and willingness to occasionally work after hours. Programming experience and relevant certifications are strong pluses.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and terminate fire alarm panels (programming not required but preferred). Pull, rough-in, and terminate fiber to fire alarm devices. Remove existing copper cabling and replace with fiber where applicable. Mount and install smoke detectors, heat detectors, and related devices. Assist certified technicians with testing. Maintain and organize tools, materials, and site conditions. Travel between sites and document completed work accurately.

Requirements:

Experience with fire alarm system installation (especially alarm panels). Ability to rough in and terminate fiber. Must pass background check, drug screen, and Lunsford Act badge screening. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided upon permanent hire). Must have personal hand tools (client will provide specialty tools as needed). Must be available to work

M-F 8AM-5PM

with occasional evenings as required.
