The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems including security systems, CCTV, access control systems, and computer networking. This role requires a strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to work independently in various environments. Duties Install and configure low voltage systems such as security alarms, surveillance cameras (CCTV), and telecommunication networks. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute installations accurately. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks. Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions for their low voltage system requirements. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to low voltage systems. Skills Proficient in field service operations with hands-on experience in system design. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various low voltage equipment. Experience with security system installations and configurations, particularly CCTV and access control systems. Familiarity with computer networking principles and practices. Competence in using power tools safely in a variety of settings. Basic locksmithing skills are a plus for securing installations effectively. Ability to read schematics and technical documentation accurately for efficient system setup.
