Installs, programs, maintains, and repairs fire alarm, CCTV, security, and access control. Ensures all life safety and security systems function properly and comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, intrusion detection, and access control systems Program, configure, and test systems to ensure compliance with codes and client specifications Perform inspections and functional testing to verify system integrity and performance Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing prompt and effective resolutions Prepare accurate service reports, documentation, and system records Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and industry standards Stay current with evolving technologies, products, and best practices in fire and security systemsRequired Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in fire alarm systems, with additional experience in CCTV, security, or access control systems with an emphasis on fire alarm installationCapabilities:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail Excellent communication Ability to understand and work with mechanical systems, tools, and machinery Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamOther:
Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving recordWorking Conditions:
Indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to high and low temperatures Potential exposure to noise, dust and chemicals Must be able to bend, climb, lift heavy tools and materials, and work in confined spaces. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, or working in awkward positions.
