About Us:
IMC Fire Protection has proudly served as Northern Florida's top provider of fire protection services since 2018. Providing full-service fire protections services designed with hotels, resorts, manufacturing facilities, and military projects in mind, we offer one-stop solutions that include fire sprinkler installation, inspections and service, fire alarm installation, inspections and service, backflow preventer inspections, repairs, and more.Role Overview:
Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with applicable safety codes and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Install new fire sprinkler systems and components as needed Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards and local/state fire codes Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and compliance records accurately Coordinate with customers, contractors, and team members to schedule and complete jobs Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition Follow all company safety policies and proceduresRequired Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems or a related field NICET certification in Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Systems requiredCompetencies:
Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards Ability to read blueprints and system schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWorking Conditions:
