- We are seeking an experienced Senior Security & Fire Alarm Technician to support New Construction and Large-scale Retrofit projects throughout Greater Orlando and Central Florida.
CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection:
Install, Program, Test, and Commission Fire Alarm and Electronic Security Systems Configure CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems Read Blueprints, Shop Drawings, Riser Diagrams, and Submittals Perform System Testing, Troubleshooting, and Commissioning Support AHJ Inspections and Final System Turnover Coordinate with Project Managers, Contractors, and customers Provide technical guidance to junior Technicians and ApprenticesMUST HAVE
4+ years of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security experience Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Experience with Fire Alarm and Security System Programming Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and Florida Fire Prevention Code Ability to read Construction Drawings and Riser Diagrams Understanding of IP Networking as it relates to Security Systems FloridaFASA/BASA
License or ability to obtain Valid driver's licenseNICE TO HAVE
NICET Level II or higher Experience with Notifier, Silent Knight, EST/Edwards, Siemens, Honeywell, or Gamewell-FCI Experience with Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Bosch, Axis, or DMP Florida Burglar Alarm System Agent License Experience leading New Construction and Large-Scale Retrofit Projects A bit about us:- We are a growing Fire Protection and Electronic Security organization providing Fire Alarm, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Low Voltage solutions.
