The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including fire alarms and surveillance systems. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of various security systems, ensuring that they operate effectively and meet safety standards. The Alarm Technician will work closely with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions. Duties Install, maintain, and repair low voltage alarm systems, including fire alarms and surveillance equipment. Must be able to program silent knight 6000 series panels with HFSS software. Detect and troubleshoot issues within security systems and fire alarms to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform installations and repairs. Telecommunicate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide recommendations. Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in the security system industry is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to alarm systems and low voltage installations. Familiarity with fire alarm systems, surveillance technology, and general security protocols. Ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills for telecommunication with clients and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as run a crew on the jobs and maintain timeline and finish job in a timely manner.
