Job Description
Licensed Fire Alarm Technician /
Licensed Low-Voltage Technician Primary Location:
2101 SHIGHWAY 77, LYNN HAVEN, FL 32444-4631
Essential Functions (include but are not limited to) An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.- Sets up and configures various low voltage systems (for example, security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling). Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards. Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Identifies and resolves issues in low voltage systems promptly to minimize downtimes. Fixes any faults or damages in systems, ensuring they are restored to optimal working conditions. Provides technical support. Provides training and support to end users on how to operate and maintain low voltage systems.
- Addresses customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently. Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Maintains accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Generates reports on system performance, issues resolved, and maintenance activities. Evaluates existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed. Performs system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards. Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. - Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.

- Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
