Cox Automotive is seeking a Parts Installer II to support telecommunications and media systems across our innovative automotive technology platforms. In this role, you'll install, replace, and configure hardware components, wiring, and related equipment to keep critical systems running smoothly. You'll read technical diagrams, follow detailed work orders, and perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure reliable performance. Working in a collaborative, people-first culture, you'll partner with technicians and engineers, follow strict safety and quality standards, and help support the technology powering modern automotive retail. Responsibilities Install and replace telecommunications and media system parts in Cox Automotive facilities and client environments Read and interpret technical diagrams, work orders, and installation specifications Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot installed components to ensure proper functionality Document work performed, parts used, and system configurations in company systems Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards during all installations Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and project teams to support deployments Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of commonly used parts Provide basic user guidance on installed equipment when needed Required Skills Telecommunications hardware installation Low-voltage cabling and wiring Reading technical diagrams and schematics Use of hand and power tools Equipment testing and calibration Basic network and media system knowledge Troubleshooting and diagnostics Work order and documentation systems Adherence to safety and compliance standards Time management and task prioritization
