Job Description

Signal21 is hiring! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems installers and Fire Alarm systems installers with advanced understanding of Security Alarms and Fire Alarm Systems. If you have experience in programming, installing, integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining these systems, we want to hear from you! Positions open for immediate filling!
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and program Security and Fire Systems for commercial clients. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on various security systems, and Fire systems.. Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide solutions. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with all codes, standards, industry standards and regulations. Provide excellent customer service, training, and support to clients and other team members. Have great communication skills both verbal and written. Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure successful installations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Security and Fire Alarm System installation, service, and maintenance. In-depth knowledge of various Security and Fire Alarm platforms. (Honeywell, Silent knight, Firelite, Napco, Ademco Vista panels) Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents. Strong understanding of low voltage wiring and electronic security systems and Fire. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with IP-based systems and network configuration. Experience in fiber optics a plus. Knowledge of NEC Standards. Knowledge of NFPA Codes and Standards Home office location is in Sanford, Florida. This team handles installations and service requests all over Florida, concentrating on the Central Florida area.
