Job Description

FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN
(FASA
PREFERRED
) United Safety & Alarms is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team in Sunrise, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting commercial fire alarm systems while maintaining compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems Perform annual inspections and testing Complete service calls and emergency repairs Identify and document system deficiencies Program and configure fire alarm equipment Communicate professionally with customers and office staff Complete service tickets and inspection reports accurately Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and company safety requirements
Requirements:
Valid Florida Driver's License Minimum 2 years of fire alarm experience FASA Certification preferred Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams Knowledge of NFPA 72 and life safety systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred Experience:
FireLite Silent Knight Honeywell Notifier Bosch Alarm monitoring systems Commercial fire alarm inspections
Compensation:
$30.00 - $42.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, and technical ability.
