In this energetic role, you will work on industrial and commercial sites, ensuring that communication, security, and data systems operate flawlessly. Your expertise will help create safe, efficient environments by implementing precise technical solutions aligned with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced construction setting while making a tangible impact on project success. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately install low voltage systems such as data cabling, security cameras, access control, and alarm systems. Perform installation tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment and materials in accordance with workplace safety regulations. Conduct erosion control measures and ensure proper site preparation before beginning work on low voltage infrastructure. Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems efficiently. Follow all safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, climbing safety procedures, and other industrial construction safety practices. Assist with equipment repair and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with team members to implement erosion control measures and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial construction or related fields with a focus on low voltage or electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Familiarity with blueprint reading, construction workplace safety regulations, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks requiring manual dexterity. Knowledge of erosion control techniques relevant to construction sites. Experience working with power tools, equipment repair, climbing structures safely, and using respiratory protection when necessary.
