In a Sprinkler & Fire Alarm Designer job you'll be responsible for: ? Designing commercial sprinkler and fire alarm systems using CAD software ? Creating detailed layouts and drawings in accordance with fire protection codes and standards ? Utilizing specialized fire protection engineering tools including SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, and AlarmCAD ? Collaborating with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure design accuracy and project success ? Reviewing plans and making revisions as needed to meet compliance and customer specifications What you'll need: ? Experience as a sprinkler and fire alarm designer ? Specialized fire protection engineering background preferred ? Proficiency in CAD software ? Hands-on experience with SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, and AlarmCAD (required) ? Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and industry standards ? Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
