This full-time, onsite position is the primary point of contact for routine system activity, daily documentation, and coordination with hospital staff and our contracted licensed inspection and repair partners. This is a stable Monday-Friday, 40-hour role, with scheduled overtime. The work is primarily onsite operations, routine service support, documentation, and coordination—not a standalone inspection, programming, or major-repair position. Compensation $31.00-$41.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications (approximately $64,480-$85,280 annually at 40 hours per week). Why This Role

• Serve as the onsite point of contact for routine fire-alarm operations, daily troubles, service coordination, and communication with hospital personnel.
• Monitor and document alarms, supervisory signals, and trouble conditions; maintain accurate daily status and activity reports.
• Reset fire-alarm control panels and perform routine visual system checks in accordance with training and site procedures.
• Perform assigned routine field work, such as replacing batteries, manual pull stations, sprinkler heads, and similar components, when trained and within assigned scope.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting, including tracing or isolating ground-fault conditions when qualified; escalate complex diagnostics, repairs, programming, and inspection work to the appropriate service or inspection partner.
• Coordinate access, escorts, scheduling, and site information so service and inspection technicians can efficiently complete their work.
• Maintain documentation of service visits, deficiencies, repairs, follow-up actions, and system status. What You'll Need
• Two or more years of experience in fire alarm, life safety, low-voltage, facilities maintenance, fire protection, or a related commercial or institutional environment.
• Experience responding to fire-alarm troubles, resetting panels, documenting system events, or coordinating service work is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Simplex fire-alarm systems is preferred; experience with comparable addressable fire-alarm systems will be considered.
• Ability to perform visual inspections, replace basic devices or components within assigned scope, and recognize when an issue requires escalation.
• Basic troubleshooting ability, including the ability to assist with ground-fault tracing, is preferred.
• Strong written documentation, organization, customer-service, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently onsite and coordinate effectively with hospital staff, vendors, inspectors, and service technicians.
• Current NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems or Fire Alarm Systems Inspection and Testing is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates without it must be eligible for and obtain the applicable certification within 12 months of hire as a condition of continued employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds for system access and troubleshooting. Who Will Thrive Here
