Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems in commercial buildings
  • Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for alarm system components
  • Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels
  • Provide customer support and training on alarm system operation
  • Collaborate with clients to customize alarm system configurations based on their specific needs
  • Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance performed
Experience:
  • Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a related field is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles
  • Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations for low voltage systems
  • Experience in alarm system sales is a plus
  • Basic locksmithing skills are beneficial
  • Possession of any relevant certifications is a plus
  • Mechanical knowledge for installation and maintenance of alarm system components
  • Field service experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in using power tools for installation and repair tasks
