About Incom Incom is a growing technology integration company specializing in access control, video surveillance, structured cabling, audio visual systems, and business technology solutions. We serve commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and government clients throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South. We are looking for a motivated Access Control Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service. Position Summary The Access Control Technician will install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial access control and security systems. This position involves both new construction and service work, with opportunities to grow into lead technician and project leadership roles. Responsibilities Install and terminate low-voltage cabling for access control systems Install card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, locks, power supplies, and related hardware Install and service electric strikes, magnetic locks, electrified locksets, and door hardware Troubleshoot access control systems and field devices Read and interpret construction drawings and wiring diagrams Configure and commission access control equipment Perform system testing, documentation, and customer training Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active job sites Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members Preferred Experience - Experience with one or more of the following: Ubiquiti Access Verkada Lenel OnGuard Avigilon Honeywell Brivo Openpath Axis Communications Altronix power systems Electrified door hardware Candidates with strong low-voltage, structured cabling, security camera, electrical, or locksmith backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
