Job Description
Job Summary Orbital Project Management is seeking Construction Surveillance Technicians (CSTs) to support construction in Suitland, Maryland. This is a full-time, on-site position for the duration of the construction phase. The CST is responsible for maintaining continuous, unbroken surveillance over all uncleared workers operating within controlled construction areas. This is not a passive security role as the CST is the last line of defense against the introduction of technical surveillance devices, unauthorized access, and security compromise during active construction. The CST works under the direct supervision of the Site Security Manager and operates as part of an integrated safety and security team. CSTs must be available for shift-based scheduling to ensure coverage across all active work periods with no gaps in observation. All work is performed within a secured environment. This position requires an active security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the discipline to enforce zero-tolerance security protocols. Responsibilities Maintain continuous, unbroken line-of-sight surveillance over all uncleared workers operating within or adjacent to controlled construction areas throughout each shift Required Certifications & Qualifications Active SECRET clearance minimum; TS/SCI eligibility strongly preferred for this project U.S. citizenship required, no dual citizenship Favorable background investigation (National Agency Check with Law and Credit / NACLC or equivalent) DBIDS enrollment and base access credential CPR/First Aid current certification
