Responsibilities Install fire alarm systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and system design specifications Read and interpret technical drawings including CAD files and schematics to ensure accurate installation Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with building codes, NEC (National Electrical Code), and safety standards Fit fire sprinkler systems and integrate sensors, low voltage wiring, and alarm components into existing building infrastructure Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble, mount, wire, and test fire alarm components Perform field service tasks such as troubleshooting system issues, replacing faulty sensors or wiring, and ensuring optimal operation of fire alarm systems Collaborate with construction teams during project phases to coordinate system installation and ensure quality control Skills Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings for precise system installation Mechanical knowledge related to fire sprinkler fitting and construction inspection processes Electrical experience with low voltage wiring, sensors, alarms, and NEC compliance standards Familiarity with fire alarm system design principles and system integration techniques Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for installation and troubleshooting Knowledge of fire alarm sales processes and service technician best practices is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in field service environments Join us in delivering life-saving solutions through expert installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems!
