Job Description

Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspection Technician Protect Lives. Build Your Skills. Grow Your Career. Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, and like working in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a motivated Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspection Technician to join our growing fire protection team. In this role, you'll help protect people, businesses, and property by inspecting, testing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. Whether you're an experienced technician or someone with a strong technical background looking to grow into the industry, we offer training, support, and opportunities for advancement. What You'll Do Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. Conduct fire sprinkler system inspections and document findings accurately. Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm system deficiencies and equipment failures. Test initiating devices, notification appliances, monitoring equipment, and system controls. Complete detailed inspection reports using company-provided electronic devices. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and system layouts. Communicate professionally with customers regarding inspection results, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions. Safely operate tools, equipment, company vehicles, and testing devices. Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency service requests. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while caring for company tools and equipment. Qualifications Experience with fire alarm installation, inspection, or service is preferred. Electrical installation, low-voltage, or construction experience is a plus. NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred but not required. Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable using tablets, computers, and electronic reporting systems. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50-70 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights. Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, and construction environments. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour , based on experience. Quarterly profit-sharing bonus. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Retirement plan with company matching.
