Job Description

Fire Alarm Installation Technician Position Overview Seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Technician responsible for installing, programming, and commissioning new commercial fire alarm systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and project teams.

$44.88
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st shift
Location:
Golden Valley Essential Functions Install and wire fire alarm system components Program and commission fire alarm systems Interpret and follow project drawings, specifications, and industry standards Meet installation deadlines and manage time efficiently Apply strong knowledge of Local Fire Code, NFPA 72, NEC 70, and related codes Communicate effectively with customers and project team members Complete all required documentation accurately Maintain precise daily electronic timesheets Follow all safety procedures and requirements Qualifications Minnesota Power Limited Technician (PLT) License required NICET certification preferred Manufacturer certifications preferred Experience with fire alarm product lines such as Notifier and/or Siemens High School Diploma or equivalent Must be or become a member of IBEW 110 or
