Job Description

Brinton Fire & Security is seeking a highly organized and skilled Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and a solid background in the fire alarm industry. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' fire and life safety systems through diligent maintenance, new installations, and comprehensive annual inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technician for the service and installation of new and existing fire alarm systems. Perform annual fire alarm and fire extinguisher inspections in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance and inspection activities using computer-based systems. Respond to client requests in a timely and efficient manner. Uphold Brinton Fire & Security's standards for cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance or lead technician in the fire alarm industry. Strong experience with fire alarm systems is a MUST . Strong computer skills. Ability to assist with low voltage system maintenance and repairs. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently. Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects. Exceptional work history references demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current fire alarm or low voltage licensing/certifications, NICET Experience with door access control is preferred, but not required.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
