Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team.
Submit design plans to proper department leadership for approval and obtain permits as required.
Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production.
Prepare submittal packages and subsequent correspondence to achieve design approval from proper authorities, general contractors and owners.
Prepare fabrication lists for pipe fabrication.
Perform field surveys to ensure design is appropriate for structure.
Assist field personnel with design related installation issues.
Prepare and submit final job close-out documents after final acceptance testing.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); NICET Level II in Water-based Fire Protection Layout with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Computer SkillsAutoCAD, or Hydro CAD, Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Additional RequirementsPre-employment drug screen, Background check and MVR check.
Must have reliable transportation.
